WELCOME TO HOKU KAI TERMINAL

Hoku Kai Terminal will be the largest and most efficient fuel terminal on the Big Island of Hawai’i. The Hoku Kai Terminal will be the only terminal that can berth large capacity, deep draft, ocean-going vessels at its designated pier/pipeline in the Port of Hilo. By receiving larger volumes of fuels at once, Hoku Kai reduces friction costs and improves logistics to help deliver lower energy costs to the Big Island of Hawaii. The terminal is owned and operated by Big Island residents serving the local community by increasing energy resilience and security.
